Miataturbo.net Miata of the Month

I think it'd be awesome if we had a Miata of the Month here. Every month, the winner should have the best picture of his/her car inserted into the site banner. Ayone else up for it?

You'd just have an official thread every month open for contestants to post pictures and information. Then Philip or a moderator or who-ever gets the job pics the top 5 contestants, and we start a poll towards the end of the month. Obviously, when picking the top 5, you're looking at the car itself, and the quality of the picture (can't use a crappy picture for our site banner, ya know?) and also the modifications done. How does the car look/run overall?

At the very end of the month (midnight of the last day) the poll ends. Next day, we make a new banner, probly via photoshop, and put it up for the rest of the month.

Whatever, just a thought :gay:

dude, there's only like 50 or so "active" members, probably only half are regular. we all know each others' cars, and everyone has pictures already in the vbgarage.

I like the roast idea. How about the engine bay of the month, since this is miataturbo, the rest of the car is only there for me to control the motor.

Another board I'm on does it, www.tennesspeed.net.

I was chosen as member of the month for November of last year I think, but my turbo miata wasn't featured, it is just too ugly right now. I had my R package and Trailblazer SS featured instead. It was a cool honor, but it is a much larger forum than this and caters to all types of vehicles.

I'm really not feeling it guys.

If someone wants to maintain the page and handle the whole thing I'll throw a banner up with a static link and you can change the page it links to, but I really don't have the time or desire to fuss with it.

I can host it and give you FTP access to make/update the page.

maybe if i get more involved with the forum i'll do it. I can host the banner so you wouldnt even have to give me FTP access just set a static link. but not right now, i've been a member for less than a week haha
