Shipping Sticky
I frequently see members asking about shipping large items such as motors, trans, diffs, and I was thinking of the benefits of a shipping sticky. Members could post up nifty packaging ideas, warnings, and preferred shipping companies.
I also have a shipping stand that could be used on a 1.8 or 1.6 that I would be willing to donate to mt.net. It could be OUR shipping stand, it's easily returned or forwarded. If someone buys my old 1.6, I will give it to them for free, as long as they forward it to the next member who requests it, for free. When off the motor it's small enough to ship for less than $20. We could have a sub thread "Where's Jack" tracking who had it last.
It is also easily replicated. Someone with skills could make up a bunch fairly easily.
Here is some pics, the frame can be bolted to any pallet small or large.

Now that is a really clever idea. Wanna build one for a Subaru EJ25?
Off topic: when I read the thread title, I assumed that "sticky" was the item being shipped, and was trying to figure out what sticky was and why a person would need to ship it.

Sorry no PM, the base is 1x2 and about 19". The uprights are 1x1 and about 13" tall. The plate is 1/4" I think. Really doesn't matter, it could be taller/shorter, it's the design that's clever.

No, I actually just bought it, and am currently crating it up for transport to my chassis guy in Kentucky.
Which means I'll soon be shopping for a transport carrier. Due to the rather odd size (and a few other items packed it) the crate is going to wind up being 48" wide, 24" deep, and 28" tall. On the plus side, I made it pallet-jack-compatible.
