Exclamation Site Changes - Layout Related.

As some may have noticed, the site is going through some layout changes.
We are now utilising:
www.miataturbo.net
and
www.miataturbo.net/forum/

Everything should be operating smoothly but if you come across a hic-up, please feel free to reply here so we may take a look into it.

Thanks again!

Rick, could you possibly consider increasing the allowed number of private messages allowed for storage? 25 is so little, 50 would be nice. Its negotiable

Welcome Rick. This isn't really layout related, but I'm wondering what to do with the paid membership. Have you set anything up for it yet?

Man, now that we have a new software version do we get all that other cool crap some upgraded forums have. Like a garage and whatnot.

Well, i think the effort is going to be put into the subscribers so they get more for their money.

But, there will be more features for reg users as well, i just have to get around to them.

Well, currently everyone has perpetual payments going to Phil. They should all be canceled immediately.

Goto paypal and sign in.
Click the My Account tab.
Click the History tab.
Click the Details of the subscription in question.
Click Cancel Subscription.
You have successfully canceled the subscriber's subscription.
None of the funds are now going towards the site. This is not a valid MiataTurbo.net paypal account any longer (philip@onlinemac.com)

The official information will be posted shortly as well as a mass email to all users to cancel their subscriptions.
At 10:58 am this morning i sent an email to Philip requesting he cancels all incoming payments to that subscription he has created.

As for the actual sub accounts. I would like to overall increase the features. All subscription accounts will be ads free. You will not see the banners above.

Of course, we have to sync the accounts once we change the sub information, so people with valid accounts wont see ads, those with invalid will be reset to registered and will have the option to surf the site in a 'free' capacity or re-subscribe.

*sigh* sorry for the rant, but I hope that answers the question. I am not really even at that stage yet, I’ve only shut off the subscription area at 5 am.

Any time I get more for my money I am happy. I'm not trying to rush you, I was just wondering what I should do. It sounds like the forum is good hands.
Thanks.

Welcome to your forum . I think we were all a little worried you were some foreign entity who was going to sticker the site with annoying ads and have no real involvement at all, but it doesn't look like that's the case.
