I skimmed through the whole thing, and I agree it should be made into required reading here prior to being allowed to post.

I still think we should put a limitation on thread making privileges for new members. Let people search and post in other threads before making their own. Then once a preset number of posts is reached thread making is granted. If not this then, how about a time limit before thread making is allowed, this way if people are serious about the forum they will stick around and wait for the time limit to elapse.

a variation of the stated will do, i read the first section cause im bored, but then saw 4 more...bit lenghty...
im sure someone can compose a shorter version and hit the highlights...i do recall a few instances when various new users said "what are the rules?" so some will read them, and those who dont, there is always the ban stick

We need a time out function. Let mods give newbs time outs that restricts priv. and forces them to search

Hey, I figured not everyone would read it and I agree its way to ******* long(I have never read all of it, just skimmed over it).

But I think we need to make a shorten version and make it a required reading for new members with a simple quiz at the end.
