Travis can confirm, but I'm the dude that brought that to his attention as well. This **** is still out there in the wild because it still works. I'm not actually directly involved with network/system/web security, but it's about 2 steps away from what I do all day. After 4 years of binge drinking my way through DefCon I guess I accidentally picked up some stuff

Nice, I get one training class per year that work pays for. Last year I did C#/VS2012, but there is an ethical hacking class that a lot of people take. I'm looking forward to it this year.

Training! If works pays for certification or training, DO IT! CEH looks like its a hell of a fun/challenging class. I've got all the course materials for the v5 and v6 generation of certifications but have never gotten around to doing it because work won't pay for it and I'm lazy as hell

Any chance you have a hackerspace or an active 2600 club in the area? Its fun teaching other people skills you take for granted, and learning new things you never knew you wanted to know. I showed a guy how to replace a screen in a Thinkpad and he showed me how to pick locks.
