Default Lost another "proud supporter". I'm not paying for these ads.

I know the supporter fee isn't a lot. But these ads are driving me nuts. Getting pop ups, and those are irritating. But the most irritating ads I'm getting are the ones that randomly underline words.

We use underlined words to denote emphasis. Now it's getting even more difficult to understand someone's tone of writing because stupid advertisements are underlining all sorts of words.

I have kept supporting even after reading other "get rid of these ads" threads, because admins said they were on it. But it's getting worse.

Autopay stopped.

I don't seem to have this issue at all... Just install the adblock extension to chrome or firefox. It's FREE.

I've never seen underlined words like you are talking about on this site. It sounds like you have an adware problem unrelated to this site.

Run Malwarebytes and get back to us.

I've seen it before, but not in a month or 2. And never for more than a few hours. And NEVER more than an hour or 2 after a thread like this is created.

Say what you will about their QA, but they do fix **** quickly.

I've gotten the underlined BS on a fresh vm install of Win7 at one point.

So, tell me at length how a fresh vm install of win7 has a trojan Rleete.

edit: As a side note, I do believe it's malware related, I haven't had any issues since the hour or two a couple months ago. IB took care of that quickly.

Report:

I owe all an apology. It must have been malware related. It was my work computer. I thought I had seen it on my home computer (macbook) but I just took a look around and it hasn't appeared again.

Hehe... stress level kinda hit an all-time high and guess it just pissed me off.

Alright I'll stay on as supporter a while longer. Besides.. couldn't figure out how to cancel it

YEAH...I never see ads, with or without supporting membership. Using Safari on Mac, Silk on Kindle. I don't recall ads when I used Mozilla either.
