Yes, it's that most modern, ground breaking game you have all been waiting for. OpenTTD is based off of Transportation Tycoon Deluxe from the mid 1990's. It features truly gigantic maps (maps that would probably be the size of a medium size state). You can develop transportation systems and link cities and industries to help them grow. If you enjoy tedious, math heavy simulators using logic gates, this is the game for you! It really is pretty fun for a distraction if you have some time to waste. It pulled me in today, and hours flew by, and nothing got done. You can make it as streamlined or as complex as you want. Map design customization is very broad, and you can link cities of a few hundred people and grow them into metropolis size cities linked together in a giant region.

One of the best games ever made. The hours I spent playing this game in my childhood could probably total up to a year or so.

Oh, it's not all that bad is it? I guess it takes a certain kind of person to enjoy such a game.

Some people love it, others can't stand it.

I don't mind it, i just hate when things get to big and to hard to manage.

Yeah, it's for sure isn't easy to handle when it starts to get big. I also can't figure out how, if at all possible to replace all old vehicles with the new copies of the same model. When they start getting old and break down constantly, it's good to replace them. But I'm not about to go through and replace 200+ road vehicles one at a time, and reassign routes.
