------- sweet. I'm all for that one. really wish there was a handy cap for the leader though, if we spread out much it'll be pretty boring.

benefits of knowing how to tune as well as drive

For closer racing, spec tune and build rather than just a spec build and unlimited tune

What should the lap times be around with no tuning?

Is there going to be an (A)LMS race here? Proper classing too? I'd love a 20-ish lap race with different classes going on some time.

Needs to be "atleast" hour long for an ALMS race, I can easily do proper classing and mods needed for a ALMS race.
20 laps is too little depending on track which is most.
50 laps on most of the smaller tracks is around an hour
I would also suggest testing people for higher up LMP1\C cars to see if they can pass properly GT2 cars

There's some LMP1/GT2 trackday challenges that will clearly show you the speed differences between the 2 classes and force you to be decisive and clean. The AI doesn't give a ----, much like the honeybadger. I agree, an hour long at least would be fun, Sebring, Road Atlanta, 25-ish laps of the Le Mans track. I'd be down like hustlers flaccid peepee.

I may start a new thread for it or list up the cars for it and ask around for a good time and see how many people would be interested.
indeed 20 laps would be to little to late, in the last race flier was slowly catching me but not enough laps for him to do anything.
