Forza 4
Who's getting it? It comes out in the US of A on the 11th of October.
Porsche has been nixed. We can blame EA and their stupid NFS series for that. At least they'll have a few cars from RUF.
Post your XBL Gamertags. Mine are "House of Toler" and "Toler Clan".

Wrong. GT5 was such an over hyped, over rated pile of **** compared to Forza 3.
Will be getting F4, just preordered to Collector edition yesterday actually. Not having Porsche sucks ***** though, that was one of my favorite companies in the game. I made some bad *** AWD turbo Cayman race cars.

Where do I want to preorder for the best perks?
Before Kinect came out, I theorized that it would make an excellent device for head-tracking ala TrackIR. Well whaddya know? Forza 4 will have this. I wonder how much dabbling with code it would take to apply head-tracking via Kinect to PC games like ARMA?

I'm not an XBOX nutswinger. Actually Forza is the only XBOX exclusive game I really like. Anything else I can get for PS3. I just think Polyphony dropped the ball with GT5. Sure it's pretty, but I think in nearly every other aspect it falls short. What do you mean by "real steering wheel setup"? I've used an older wheel setup, it helped, but that isn't really my full issue with the game. Car selection is weak, so many of the cars I want to use are standard models. Car upgrading is also weak compared to previous installments. I want something more in depth than "stage 1" tuning. Forza blows them away in this aspect. B spec mode sucks. So many of the race modes and competitions feel lacking. Menus are a bit confusing, with too many sub menus. Spend more time setting up a race than you do actually racing. I just don't like it. Forza 3 > GT5. GT4 > GT5.

I want to get it, because after playing a 10(probably)-year-old game like TOCA Race Driver 3 (prequel to Grid I believe) for PS2 and being amazed with the sounds, concept, and even physics, and racing feel of the game (which is incredible and just so raw btw), GT5 looks like a joke.
That being said, I've gotten to think that Forza 3/4 (having played 3 a few times and being mesmerized by the actual RACING feel and the fact that the game WANTS you to enjoy it and love it (awesome sounds+modifications etc) rather than feel like an artificial, robotic experience, is just epic and really wish I had a XBox 360 for Forza 4.
I don't like that EA took away Porsches. EA games are ...just so unrealistic and I feel like they're trying too hard to WANT to be something else while almost FORCING themselves to have to appeal to a certain market - make up your mind!
Translation: I don't want a GT3RS so I can press "X" and make the car go. I want to have realistic, challenging (understatement?) control that you'd get in the real thing, and that's what Forza/GT5/etc are for, whereas EA just makes games that don't have those deep, detailed dynamics.
