P.s., I live in Florida were emissions don't matter and nether does exhaust loudness.
On NB's the cat is part of the mid pipe. You can purchase a catless midpipe, or cut the cat out of the stock midpipe and weld in a section of pipe in it's place.

Hi. I'd like to pollute orders of magnitude more than I currently do for no performance benefit on my otherwise stock Miata, and I'd like to spend time and money in order to do so.

Can you help me achieve this, because I'm a moron?

Be careful bro, you've got 23,000 other posts he can neg as well

OP: If you are still on the stock ECU, the cat makes zero difference. There are minor gains are to be had on the intake side and almost nothing on the exhaust.

The key to making any kind of N/A power is ditching the stock ECU and getting something programmable like a Megasquirt or AEM and having it tuned within an inch of its life by someone who knows what they are doing. ECU + wideband + injectors is the foundation for all future upgrades.

Such as turbo
