Default Pinout from 01/02 NB Wiring Manual

Is anyone with the factory wiring manual for the nb2 willing to share a picture of the x-15 and/or x-16 joint connector pinouts?

The wiring diagram that is most readily available online does not do a great job of identifying which wires run through which connector.

Thank you!

If 01/02 is similar to 03, you can take a look at this. https://www.miataturbo.net/useful-sa...iagram-104527/

I saw that skylinecalvin, and it is exactly what I am looking for, but the 01-02 has different joint connectors. Thank you for posting that. I'm hoping someone is just as gracious with an 01/02 manual that they have in their garage.

I had a site in my bookmarks from ages ago with a bunch of diagrams and service manuals. Luckily it looks like the Wayback Machine got it: https://web.archive.org/web/20200203...zda/index.html

That link is money my bookmarks as well, and the wiring diagram there is great for most things, but it doesn't have a pinout for these damn connectors, nor note which wires run through it. The diagrams at the rear of the factory wiring manual, like the one posted by skylinecalvin, for the 2003, show it perfectly.

Thank you for replying. It is much appreciated.

Thank you for taking the time to reply. Sadly for me, no, the 00 is not the same pinout. Thats exactly the page, showing the x-16 joint connector, I’m hoping someone can scan from the 01/02 document.

Thanks Joe. That is the 03. Different actual x-16 connector and different pinout from the 01/02, which is what I am searching for. I appreciate the effort to try and help.

How many different versions of the NB wiring harness are there?

I'll check the rest of my archives when I get home. I know I have the ECU wiring for an '01, not sure about the body wiring.

I know, I know.

99-00 NB1, 01-02 NB2, 03+. All three have distinct x-16 joint connectors. Like, totally different. I am close to mapping it all out, but would love to get verification on a couple wires from a source more reliable than... me.

No luck. I've got the full packages for '99-00 and '03-'05 including MSM, but the only thing I have for '01-'02 is the ECU and some bits and pieces of the body systems. Nothing with X-16 on it.

Old thread , I know....any chance you could share the ECU for the '01-'02?

Thanks
