Question about COPS

For the resistor between the 12v and tach, would a 1K ohm 1/4 watt resistor be enough?

yes. only required if you are standalone.

it's easier to simple put it at IG- and B+ in the diagnostics box....i've been meaning to add that to the writeup, but im lazy.

Will be in wifey's car. Roadtrip for 10yr HS dealy... and visiting buddies and NJ shore time.

I'll be out there someday with the miata. I'm mostly excited to enjoy some good pizza/cheesesteaks though. Maybe a few hoagies from WaWA etc....
