Post pics of you DIN gauge setup
I'm having trouble finding the appropriate mounting solution for a 3 gauge DIN. An aftermarket head unit was installed on my car before I bought it and the DIN mounting is not stock. So basically there is no place to clip the gauge panel in.
What did you use to do it?
Trying to get this done before a track day on the 12th. Any help, photos, direction to where I can get possibly a universal 2 din install kit that will work etc.

It's a universal 3-gauge panel from fleabay. It fits pretty snugly into the DIN opening and the extra metal tabs on the front get sandwiched behind the center surround trim. It stays in place pretty well. I'm going to end up relocating some gauges when the turbo goes on but this panel has served me pretty well thus far.

I win.
1/4" aluminum, with a lip machines around the perimeter on the back side, which holds it in from the back very well, then the plastic surround holds it in place from the front.
I <3 having a mill.

You think it would work with a head unit? mine is just currently held in place with the metal tabs you can bend up on the head unit it self. How thick is the panel and are they 52mm gauge holes?
Can you PM me a photo? And i'm going to go measure the height of my head unit to make sure it will work. If you can do me a favor and measure the distance from the far left of the left gauge hole and the far right of the right gauge hole as well as the diameter of the hole (I assume 52mm) that would help me figure out if it would work and if it does I'll buy it.
