The only two on track were ours and Goodwin. Both with his Wilwood brakes. His with large rotors, ours with stock. Faded the PFC 14 pads. We will try some XP 12 next week on a track that is even harder on brakes and get some temp measurements.

Disregard my post, testing without some poorer results are not trying to find the limit.

After looking at PFC's compound chart now, I see we simply chose the wrong PFC. Probably fine in the back or with street tires but not in front with race tires. I think the 01 or 08 would have been better choices. I suspect the DP4 and stock rotor combo is just fine for the car. They're 11" rotors, car weighs #2200 without fuel/driver and has about 165whp. Not being a PFC dealer, we'll swap in XP12's and be fine I think.

Thanks for the ride at Laguna yesterday. That car is awesome! Grips like there's glue on those tires.

I know huh? Haven't looked at the data but it felt like over 1.5G sustained.
Thanks for coming out and sharing in the fun.

There was a white ND running with us in C on Sunday, but the only time I got a chance to look at it was on the front straight and I wasn't paying attention to its brakes at the time.

Might have been Chris from Jackson Racing's white Club. I heard somewhere that OEM roll hoops were allowed in C&D (which seems backwards to me).

Confirmed, stock hoops on that particular car. I ran into him earlier in the day while getting gas and we were both boggled that they had accepted the stockers at all. He was stickered for both C and D, didn't catch his name though =(

Ken from GarageStar had a buddy there in a white ND, with "TJ's Performance Parts" black rocker stripes and KINOD number plate stickers.

Cars were awesome Emilio. My gf had a blast in the ND with Oscar driving. She said he scared her sufficiently even though it was his first session in the car.

Sonny, if you're on here, you are a hell of a driver. Sure you hear it a lot but I had a blast riding along with you. The RE-11s were really sticky and that car just sounds good.

Did the re-11s last the whole weekend? And are they still good? They must have had upwards of 20 sessions on them.

Taxi was on 225/45/15 Rival on 15x9 6UL's. Not RE11's but maybe Sonny drove someone else car at some point.

This is a "quote" from Randy Pobst during the Motortrend Driver's car. video is on youtube if you want to see it.

I don't see why people care, its got OEM brake pads on it.

EDIT: Sorry misread that. Pobst was at Laguna Seca.

Damn. Mazda should really be selling this car in that color. That looks good.
