I bought my 95' M edition back in April has been fine but it's needing some maintenance i recently did a custom rear window for my soft top.

my battery is totally shot i think, any good suggestions for batteries?
i figured i'd just get the Optima Yellow top but not sure yet

Secondly, my intake runs from manifold to the MAF and then nothing past that, so im getting a HORRIBLE oxygen readings because of this and it doesn't idle worth a damn, i original bought an adapter plate for the MAF to then make my own piping but i've noticed the 95' intake system is completely different than other year so im having trouble finding ANY sort of stock parts or used parts i can use to fix this

If anyone has any suggestions at all or just general miata info i'd really appreciate it.

the only other thing i can think is weird is it could be the "wrong" intake, something pulled out of another mazda and adapted to mine by the previous owner, it's unlikely, but i wouldnt rule it out since i haven't seen anything like what i have

the MAF exit hole is oval "like" though and it has a metal 90 degree adapter coming right off the throttle body instead of a rubber one and it dives under my radiator lines and back up like most the other miatas
