Default Took the plunge and bought some CF

I have been wanting a carbon fiber hood for a while now for my miata...searched everywhere my buddy wanted over 700. I know there cheap over in the states but by the time i get it id get raped. So i found a guy here thats making them 500$ yada yada...my question is to who has seen or has a CF hood should i buy the CF popup headlight covers or just get them repainted red with the car? What do you think looks better? Thanks, Mike

As far as the aesthetic is concerned, I'd say the visual flow is better if the pop-up covers match the hood.

No the headlight lids....I think it'd look better if they were'nt white...my options are more limited though, but I think black might make it blend a little better, idk

Is your hood CF or just black? If it's CF, you could just get some of that 3M CF film stuff. Enough to do that little bit would be pretty cheap.

I agree, barn doors should be matched with the hood. Too many sides/angles otherwise.

If you are getting carbon covers you need to get one with a naca duct...if you want it to flow you should also do the roof, trunk, and rear fascia.
