Default Introduction

Hi,
Just thought I would say hello.
I have been reading this site for awhile now and decided it was time to post.
I bought the car a little over a year ago, it was completely standard at the time.
I have done all the mods myself except for the roll bar.
Most of the mods are in my signature, but also include a/c removal, p/s removal(de-powered rack the FM way), Sony CD/USB Head Deck, Kicker 6-1/2 splits, Hifonics Amp.
The car is my DD/track toy.
Photo's taken after Test Day at my local track(20mins from my house).

Where the magic happens.

Engine bay. (Obviously)

NZKW seat and RJS 5 point Harness. These are only in for track days, leather goes back in for daily driving.

Intake. HKS Super Power Flow filter enclosed in custom SS offset cone. I made the pattern and got a mate at work to TIG it for me. 3 inch hole in cowl panel and relocated washer bottle.

Comments and Questions welcome.

55hp jets are in at the moment as the standard clutch did not like 75hp shot at all!! Sorting out new clutch now, also have a Walbro 190lph pump to go in for safety.

Man thats quite original putting the cold air intake that way. I've never seen it that way before.
At first I was like WTF!!
In NZ we cannot mod anything considered 'structure' without a $400 certification plate. but I like that idea a lot.

Haha I'm a retard!!!!!!
I've just come to assume everyones American!

Here I am telling everyone about cert!! Man when the guy prechecked my car for cert he was going on about firewall mods and how anything that was even touched on the firewall it needed to be reinforced with 8mm steel blah bla.

Anyways where do you get your car warranted - you out south auckland?? hehe

...... man great kiwi ingenuity!

Thanks.

Yeah, turbo is in the big plan. Was gonna do MS next and get that sorted before boosting. Although our dollar has turned to poo so it makes it a more exspensive exercise.

If I be a really good boy Santa might have one in his sack for me.
