You can get adaptors to make bolt in harnesses removable if you want from places like saferacer.com.

I believe that Shroth makes DOT legal 3 and 4-point harnesses. There are no 5, 6 , nor 7 point harnesses that are DOT legal as far as I am aware.

I use snap in for the lap and sub belt. I replaced the seatbelt bolts with eye-bolts and the added two more the the floor pan for the sub. The shoulder harnesses I wrap around the harness bar on my hardcore.

Bolt in would be a pain I think.

Even if you don't use it, get the 6 point.... I've got one now, it works great for autox'ing with the stock seat....

Two over the shoulders, two at the waist... two through the split in the seat and under the leg.

Also for ease of use... go for the cam-lock. Much easier harness to use....

Wouldn't autox without it now. <G>

EDIT (Remembered this after the caffine had set in) Oh, and what I've got is two eye bolts for that the leg straps bolt to, and leaves the "eyes" open for the connection for the lap belts. I can leave those in the trunk.... since unfortunately harnesses aren't legal here to run on the street for the most part

I second the nut strap. You don't have to use it on the street, but it helps hold you snug when you need it.
