Default Reliable Inexpensive Mechanical Boost Gauge

My autometer in my car is in need of replacement. With the car off it reads 2.5 low and when in boost it is a wiggly mf-er. I beat my car regularly during the summer and I have no intentions of impressing anyone visually (brand doesn’t matter). Does anyone have recommendations for a 52mm mech boost gauge that is cheap and has been proven reliable?

I searched a while for a reasonably priced mechanical gauge that had a black face with white numbering, black bezel, and through-dial illumination available in green. I also wound up going with a VDO vac/boost gauge but I have # 150121 (find pics on ebay). I believe the difference between this one and the 150063 linked above is that the 150121 is through-dial lit and the 150063 has around-the-dial side lighting.

I'm still collecting turbo parts so I haven't really installed it yet, but I haven't heard any complaints about VDO gauges in general. I did hook it up real quick and the green lighting (it comes with bulb condoms) is a reasonable match for the stock dash. I paid ~$31 w/ free shipping from Amazon. I then had to buy a 1/8 female NPT to barb adapter from McMaster because the gauge doesn't come with any fittings to attach a normal sized vac line. I think I have an extra of those if you decide to go that route.

i have a 150063 right here that i'll let go for a few bucks cheaper than the link above. its brand new in box, bought it a few months ago and was planning to install it this weekend.

i just realized while reading this thread that its not through-dial lit, so it wont match any of my other stuff... ordering the 150121 momentarily.
