I am posting this info up to help others know the weight of popular engine swaps. If you found another engines, then post it up with a link to where you found it and I will add it to the list. Here is what I got so far...

The problem with my H1 is the stacks going through the hood. That's why I switched to the Lamborgina V12.

an lt1 wieghs 450 with ps, A, IM, but without a transmission or oill

has anyone actually done a h1v8??

Also, any chance we could get the bp engines in there as well as a reference point? Or do they basically weigh the same as the b6?

b6 and bp are about 400lbs with accesories.

It's up there now, I looked through a few forums and got an average then went with the one with more info.

The H1V8 is so over priced at around $20k and plus a trani to make fit. Now there is a twin turbo option for the little V8 that will make 1000 hp/500 ft/lbs from Hole Shot Racing.

Yeah, that is exactly why I was asking if it had actually been done.
Such an awesome, but pricey little engine.

I also put up a Formula 1 engine just for fun. They said, "each manufacturer easily reaches this regulated minimum weight". This I'm guessing is with the KERS unit attached.
