Default Another Turbo Miata Day!!!

After a quite successful Dyno and Turbo Miata day I'm gonna be having another one on Saturday December 6th at 12 noon. I will be inviting Supercharged and N/A cars also and like before eveyone is invited (even you Hustler). All cool cars welcome even non-miatas.

for mapquest 4738 Cashel Glen Dr.

Damn it, wanted to go to the last one, could not make it, same thing for this one. I am really interested in dyno tuning my car and the local go-to dyno for a Miata is offline. It would be worth a drive from SA to have it done properly.

I'll probably make it this time. We'll have to see things go.

I'm not sure I'll be able to make this one. I'll give you a holler closer to the date if I can make it.

Matt -

I'll be turning wrenches at Corky's that weekend.

Do you plan on making this a quasi-monthly event? If so, odds are I could make it in Jan/Feb...

Yeah I'm going to have it fairly often. After my engine build is done I'm going to get some Dyno time at Bavarian Hyper Sports so Stef can tune it for 16 or 18psi. I'm going to have one that will end up at Houston Raceway Park after the first of the year.

do it on a sunday next time.

I'd love to join the south-texas miata crew. Everyone is so hardcore in comparison to Dallas.

I usually do them on Sundays but a local guy here is trying to decide which FI route to go so I'm having this one so he can ride along in and drive a bunch of different cars at once. I'll have on after the first of next year where we'll all go to Houston Raceway Park afterward and drag. I've nevere done it and my car isn't built for it but what the Hell, it's always in the top 3 questions I get about my car. How much power does it make, how much boost and what does it run in the quarter? Since I know all the others I'm planning on finding out.

Why don't we go to Grandsport and do a real track day? The drag strip is fun, but a ride along in a turbo miata on a proper road course will ruin people.

I not be there! Sorry had to. I am going to getting the mini sold, but not get offered enogh so just bring it back home. Then fine tuning the miata a little more to max out my RX7 550's. After that i am going to curse a whole bunch because they are going to max out below my potential. Wish mike was selling 750cc injectors and not 1000cc injectors. Order some 750cc injectors. Then go ride my four wheeler in galveston and probably flip it over onto myself again and break even more stuff on it and on me. So in between the planned frustation and self mutilation, my day is packed. But, I'll see you on sunday at the autocross. I will be running in STS2 in heat 2 i think.

Default Shhhhhh....................

A friend of mine runs Drift days at Gransport all of the time and I go out there and grip. I've been 5 times this year. Me and the Houston Miata Club president are in the process of putting on a Miata Time Attack out there next spring. It will be open to all makes and models but the club will be putting it on. We will practice all morning and then shoot for tima after lunch, it will be a rolling start also! I hope to see all of you Saturday.

I won't make it Saturday (I'm sure my obnoxiousness won't be missed). I've got to work the next few weekends to make year end target.

I'm all over this and I may be able to talk a miata celebrity into going too. However, he's going to rape and spit out there, so go ahead and hope for 2nd place.

Paging Johnwag: its on like donkey kong.

I've never Time Attacked before just autocross twice a month. My personel mechanic is Spec Miata star John Phillips of www.phillipsraceprep.com and I've gone out with him before and he said that I drive pretty damn good so I'll try my best. That's all we can do right? Although I don't like being "First place Loser" much so we'll see.
