Default Any tuner shop in Michigan that works on FMII miata?

Last year I upgraded to an FMII kit. The car is not running right and I have no clue on how to tune the LinkECU. I'm good with mechanical work but when it comes to electronics especially tuning I feel like an idiot. Do anyone out there know of a good shop that is reasonable that tune Miata with a FMII Miata LinkECU? Thanx...btw I'm new to the forum so be nice!

I'm not sure if the powerlist is still up and running, but there used to be quite a few MI guys on there. Try Yahoo Groups, there's a few small MI clubs on there who can probably help you to find the right people.

I know the basic but the LinkECU is too complex. Keith from FM gave me a couple of suggestion but it's easier to let someone who is more experience look at it then me f'n it up more.

Hey! You must be the FMII guy that Expensivehobby22 (the red Greddy) told me about. Not sure if he told you about me, but I'm the Mariner with the Greddy. I'm so glad our Michigan turbo Miata scene is getting bigger. Soon we need to have a dyno day and get pictures up like everyone else.

As for tuning the link, I doubt anyone around here will know. Is the link similar to the link setup for other cars? If it is I might know some people who can help.

Hey, I talked to you when Steve picked up my seats.

My roommate is taking his Corrado to some guy in Waterford that tunes lots of different engine management setups. I'll get his name/number for you. Probably worth at least calling him.

no offense but hustler is right. Dont have to be a rocket scientist. Hell no one would know how to use ECU's if it took that

Learn it!!! You cant depend on anyone else to fix it 100% of the time. Why dont you tell us whats wrong and we can help you learn it. I use to have a link
