There is a few drift techniques that use slipping your clutch to control your speed while still keeping you in boost. But im not drifting and dont want to slip the clutch while under hard breaking and hitting the gas at the same time. Thats why it seems a misfire would be of help.

I use a wrx right now on the track and autox my miata. But I now have a turbo on the way for my miata and will be tracking that instead. Thats why I started this post.

They won't even let you on the track if you don't have "an aftermarket misfire system." You better find something before you go out there. No one can drive a turbo miata without it.

misfiring system could be just an out-of-gear rev limiter. aka flat shift.

I wanna di the flamethrowe mods you guys just stick with your copex technology If it is that much of a bother throw some nos on there most of our turbos spool very quickly anyway so not alot of point sub 300 whp in that stuff unless you want flatshift etc, i no lift shift all the time and have no problems.

Youtube seems to be flooded with videos of people revving with anti-lag and probably destroying lots of turbos.

Anti-lag, wasn't that pioneered by World Rally Championship cars back in the days of the Group B cars? Given the nickname Bam Bam for the constant backfiring that resulted?
