Default Best coolant hoses

I'm getting kind of tired of my coolant hoses blowing up so I need some info about which are the best hoses and where to buy them.

I just blew my fifth hose since I installed the kit

Are braided lines the best option?

Thanks

I've been using the kit from Moss motors for years, but I just recently switched to the Gates 94+ kit. This way the bottom hose is 1 piece rather than 2 with the metal pipe. Some cutting was needed to fit, but it works!

Yeah, sorry. I'm talking about the rad hoses. I've never had an issue with the turbo ones.

As usual, you always ask the correct questions. I have a 1.3 bar cap. I read it's too high, plus it's leaking. I would also need to buy the correct rad cap. BTW, my radiator is a PWR.

But I want to buy the best hoses to deal with heat. I'm beginning my own coolant reroute. I can't wait any longer.

Thanks

Where can I find the Gates kit?

BTW, you just beat me to the set of 440cc injectors on ebay!

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/94-05...spagenameZWDVW

Get a lower pressure cap while you're at it. 1-1.1 bar would help.

The link cjernigan left is the best place to get them. I got mine from Bill @ the roadster place, but it took awhile to ship. I love the idea of one hose, to hell with that metal pipe with 2 hoses.

Was that you! lol That's the 3rd set I've bid on! I used auctionsniper this time around. I saw that I beat the next highest bidder (you) by 5 seconds. I have the seller sending them right to injector rehab for me.

Thanks Chad. BTW, there are other hoses I will also need (I'm talking about the smaller ones). Those have also been popping.

Not all rad caps fit (ask me how I know)

I like how your car is coming along!
