best color for a roll bar?
#22
depends on if you are happy with the wheels on the car. A gunmetal with a good flake and nice clear coat could be really sick. Actually I'd love to see you do that. If I was to get one it'd either be white or gold...leaning towards white.
Actually hell when its done I want to see it. we should meet up.

if you're a painter, then go crazy...do something no one else has done...if i was you i would do similar color as wheels and then mix the flake in the clearcoat and spray over both, roll bar and wheels...that would look sick, i always thought gunmetal and very large gold flake would look badass...but then again im not a painter and i have no idea if that is even possible you know

I painted it wrinkle black today. lettin it dry overnight, and I'll try and take some pics tomorrow if it doesn't rain too badly. I think I'll be doing my intercooler piping as well because I like it so much and i have 2 extra cans

i woudlnt pait the intercooler piping...not sure exactly why, but according to Corky they should not be coated to maximize efficiency, supposedly the charge pipes act as an intercooler on their own since the underhood temps are less then those exiting the compressor housing, therefore they uninsulated piping sheds some of the heat within...something like that, i remember reading that, i wanted to powerdercoat mine but i changed my mind because of waht he wrote and he seems to know his ****, lol
GL though
my Valve cover and intake manifold are both wrinkle powdercoated FWIW

yeah, i was thinking more along the lines of just doing the passenger side pipe. The drivers side is aluminum, and I want to have it polished up.
I need to cut the drivers side pipe down a bit anyway, to install my new coupler (so it won't go blowing off at the track again and making me think I lost the motor)
