$8150 leaves you plenty of leftovers to sort out the intake, cooling hoses and exhaust. On the NA, you need to add $200 for a modified valve cover and $150 for an aftermarket fuel pressure regulator/fittings. It's not as expensive as you make it out to be. It's not as if we're skimping on parts, either - you could use a higher-mileage and/or less desirable motor, you could do without the RSX gear, you could do an S2000 manifold instead of the Skunk2 parts, you could start with a used engine harness, and you could use a less expensive clutch and radiator.

Also you need a NB steering rack and tie rods, and it is considerable more work on the wiring end if you want to keep it clean.

You're missing the point. "Over $10k" is a very vague number which will be perceived by a casual observer as being quite a bit more than $10k. LS swaps are "over $10k" too. My point is that you can build a nice K24A2 car for under that figure.

Your right, i was just stating a few more differences with the NA vs NB swap. There are a lot less NA swaps then NB swaps. David has done a lot to reduce the cost of the swap.
