Default Bov?

Okay looking for a new BOV as my cheapo ebay one is sticking despite oiling. Looking for any recommendations.

Don't say the bosch one as I used to run one and I liked it a lot for under 10-12psi, but above that I think it leaks a bit. Need something more stout for 14+.

I was thinking about the GFB one that FM used to carry, but I've also read a bunch of reviews that over time it sticks as well.

Thinking HKS SQV, but that one is $$$. Any others?

I've read good things about them ^. wish I knew more.

For around 8psi would the bosch valve work just fine? its real cheap.

I have had a lot of success with the HKS SSQV.

I used to have the GFB VTA, but it always surged no matter what. Someone flow tested one and found it was leaking in vacuum.

The GFB recirculating is supposedly better than the VTA in regards to surging.

The brass piston works on 20psi KKK turbo Audi's...

I heard what Jefe said- but I haven't got my boost over 13psi yet.

I have this one bookmarked because I read somewhere that it worked well for higher boost and being a chinese unit.

I miss my IS.

Funny you should bookmark that one as it the same seller is the one I bought my current cheap one from. Problem is the piston part sticks after awhile and I'm getting tired of oiling it so frequently.

Hmmm....cheap DSM 1g or cool sounding Tial......

I assume this has to do with a lack of precision and excessive tolerance causing binding of the piston and cylinder- understandable when cheap enters the equation. Glad I mentioned it.

my all metal bosch dumps and was loud- but I picked up a an air filter for it and it did a good job of muffling the noise while keeping the air clean off boost

All of those ebay valves are knock-offs of our units...
