Boxster roll bar on Miata?
I am curious, has anyone tried to fit a Boxster roll bar to a Miata? These can be sourced second hand for <100$ (where I live) and look good, hence the question.
The hoop center distance is 705 mm (same as MX5) and other dimensions look suitable. Custom brackets would be needed but again manageable.

Tel ya what, from now on, just assume anything you think of will work, no one else has done it, and just go ahead and do it.
You seem incredibly resourceful and you also seem to plan your **** out.
I'd rather just skip to the thread where you make some random $10 part somehow fit.

It has been done, some guy here in Greece on his 92. He also fitted the seats from the same car. I don't know which year Boxster it came from or if the mounting was solid such that it was actually a rollbar and not a stylebar, but it did fit and it looked great/OEM.
