Default help please

Hi. I am looking to boost my miata very badly. I just wrote a thread on doing a sc14 custom install for 1k but was onyl thinking of doing it because of the cheapness of it. But recently found this for sale. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1-6L-...spagenameZWDVW
please tell what you think about this, good or not? I knwo I will need to buy new gaskets! Where do you buy those and how much? im just going to run it at 5 psi to start then slowy build it up from there so no need the injectors right?
Thank you

actaualy I just talked to the guy and it seems need a turbo-manifold gasket and turbo-downpipe gasket. any idea where to buy them? also will need boost controller and all the turbo lines? What lines are needed with a turbo system? oil and water or something else? I will also need a rising rate fuel management. If anybody is is selling these items please let me know. seems like I am going to buy this by the end of the weekend maybe even tomorrow. actually seems I will need a filter as well am I correct? what do you need to do buy a cone filter at liek checkers and connect with some kind of pipe fitting? would I be able to use a CAI? if yes would i need anything else besdies whats included with the CAI to use it? Thank you very much.

Someone correct me if i'm wrong but all that stuff looks like ebay crap. If that is right, then the only thing worth a **** is the IC, but not for 500 dollars.

I don't think you need any gaskets except for the manifold to head gasket. No a CAI won't work unless you make your own or modify a purchased one (waste of time) but it doesn't really matter on turbo cars.

I would also advise you to do some researching before you get dominated by the members here. Fix your grammar, punctuation, and paragraphs and show that you have done your homework before you start a new thread.

GL with all this.

most that kit's worth is a good $425....seems like a FAIR buy

exhaust 100$
d/p(mine's never cracked so i figured this one won't either) $50
turbo $85 (given it's in good condition...i doubt it's seriously 1000 miles or less....)
mani 50$ (worthless but worth 50 on ebay new i guess...)
turbo XS BOV 80$ (guestimate)
intercooler 80$ (guestimate)

350 for shipping? thats ridiculous. I got a whole BEGI S1 system shipped for $100. You are getting ripped. Save your money and buy the begi-s system. Do whatever it takes, suck a few extra dicks, whatever. If you buy the ebay ****, you will have nothing but headaches until you replace every part you bought. BEGI makes great products and you will not have to worry about their quality.

With the shipping costs that you have going to HI, you should strongly consider a complete kit like the BEGi S. Otherwise, you will be nickel and dimed with shipping for various little bits and pieces that will be inevitably needed. You could go well over $1000 to get that **** running.

Stay away...all that stuff looks like ****.
Only thing worth anything is the Injectors, and they are not included.
Anyone need a set of RX7 550cc injectors, the guy is selling them for $100.

Oh, and please make your thread titles informative. "help please" is not a good thread title. Try something more like "Is this ebay kit worth the money?"

ok thank you. I will stay away, far away. Yes the begi is what I have been looking at for a while. I got 900 saved in one more month should have enough for the begi s and shipping, but I for got I have to buy my school books dammit. maybe 1.5 months Ill have enough. Yea it does seem to be missing quite a lot, and IDK if it even runs. He said the guy he bought it from said it did but the current owner never installed or tested it. Would begi's shipping still be 100 even to HI? Oh and next time I will make a better title thats informative. THANK YOU

Just kinda skipped over most of the posts in this thread so i may be repeating this...

But the KID selling this lives up the road from me, the whole kit is crap. I tried to talk him out of buying it originally and he didnt want to listen. Now he's gotten a little smarter and is getting rid of it, but that doesn't change the fact that the kit is all 100% crap, i have seen the "kit" in person and wouldn't give you $25 for it.

I bought the injectors from this guy. He says that the guy he got them from said that they were cleaned and flow tested. So i am getting second hand info here. They do have these nifty red caps on them that makes them look official though :P.
