Default How is interior windshield post trim removed?

How does the piece of trim that is on the inside of the windshield post come off? The piece where people always mount gauges. I see no fasteners, but I don't want to just jump in and start prying away with a screwdriver till I know that's the proper way to do it. Thanks.

You have to remove the soft top striker (I think it's called), remove the top trim and then they pop out.

Just clips, no screws IIRC.

I just ripped mine out by going from side to side and working it out, went right back in after. So just carefully pull it out.

Also, lev is right, that is also just pulled out IIRC.

Yes. Interior trim on the windshield post. Thanks for all the replies, I'll try it tomorrow.
