The hood finally arrived...

Here's mine on my 93:

So worth the wait.

Oh, don't worry about rain...the vents have covers that attach on the underside of the hood.

Now I have to decide if I reeeeally want to buy the hood for my NB. I probably only NEED it if I track the car. Zero overheating problems on the street as-is.

OK I just bought an NB hood. Hopefully I will be track testing its extraction properties in a couple of weeks. If so the Texas Miata Challenge crew will get a look at it, hopefully as I pass them

AACCHH!! Don't say that. Seriously though short of a hurricane it is going to be hot at this next event. So if my car stays cool for this, it should be able to handle most anything.

Got mine yesterday. It is a carbon/kevlar hood with green dyed kevlar fibers. The green is not as dark as the green on the car but I think it will still tie it in nicely. There are a few cosmetic imperfections in the kevlar fibers but not a huge deal unless one was going to show the car, which I am not. Overall it looks good and should do the job. I'd buy it again. I'll post some pictures when I get it installed.

Now all I need is a working Adaptronic and I can head for the track.

^ please post pics. I'm curious to see if it's green like my chaser hardtop was.
