Default water pump interchangability

Is the water pump the same on all b6 and bp?

Found the answer. The pump itself is the same, but a 1.8 alternator bracket bolts to the pump, and on the 1.6 the bracket bolts to the block.

I'm working on a deal on forged water pumps is why I asked...
