help me choose a clutch!
i need a clutch to throw more boost on my miata...
i love to drift, so it needs to be able to take clutch kicks and drops without slipping... im not worried about pedal feel because this is my toy and my daily driver is a 2005 black scion xb... i want to hit 250rwhp and call it a day... so? is there a clutch out there for me? help me out! i want more boost!

for the extreme PP and like a 6 puck...I think its like 120 more...+ you have to get a flywheel.
I think the 1.6 xt and 6 puck are rated for a little over 300 ft-lbs....the street disc I have is ratted to 277ft-lbs

other than the horribly low pedal engagement, its good. You really do have to push the clutch to the floor. I ******* hate it so much I'm trying to make myself deal with it, but I think I'm going to try a different company's model.

i have an act clutch and a huge pressure plate.. i wish i went a little less beefy though... as it can be a chore to push in. you can adjust the clutch and where it releases i believe..
i went a little to crazy on my first clutch and got a race clutch which broke my tranny (3rd gear) running NA... so now i use the reccomended clutch for the amount of power i have

My sis's bf's act clutch is adjusted all the way out, and if you don't mash the pedal into the carpet, it wont fully disengage. I don't see how this could be a defect, but we've fucked with it and its terrible.

ceramic-metallic wears out everything fast
everything else is in betweenish.
and the miata has quite a bit of adjustment at the pedal... you can move the top stop (clutch switch screw thing) probably 3/8 and have the pedal super high to gain travel but the master cyl is only so long....
