Well Im pretty sure my water pump is starting to fail Lost some coolant and though I couldnt see the leak I could smell the coolant. Since Im sure mu valve seals are shot Im thinking of either taking the head to a machine shop or replacing with one from cylinder-head,com for 375 bucks, Has anybody had any experience with them? How much typically should I loof for in price from a machine shop? Thanks

I have a friend that recommended me a place back when I wanted to refresh the head on my previous car. I'll give him a call and get back to you.

I had a poor experience with the one in Clearwater. Quality was ****, combustion chamber full of pockmarks and three of the exhaust valves leaked like a sieve. Crap workmanship, wrong water ports (was a Escort head). Won't ever deal with them again.

Clearwater is by Tampa, OP is West Palm. The guy that mentioned this shop to me had used it before and said they were very good
