Default ROTARY swap

K so this summer i plan to do a rotary swap into my 92 miata and i need some help finding out what all needs to be done to make this swap happen.

i've got a motor and possibly an ecu but i know thats not all of what i need has anyone come across a build thread for this swap?

custom motor mounts i know are a necessity along with an adapter plate from the transmission to the motor but what else????

Yo Dawg...imma put a V6 in my whip...whats eye need?

For real man, if you have to ask I'm pretty sure you're not going to be capable of pulling off the swap, not to mention, do you know how many different variations of the Wankel there are? At least be specific with what you've got and what your goals are when you post here.

Oh and prepare yourself for about 25 more "WTF are you doing?" "Why not just go V8?" "Stay 4cyl and turbo that bitch!!" posts.

Instead of sticking a rotary in your miata, why dont you just stick it in your ***? It will do more good there.

Uh oh, you're one of those guys. You want to rev to 13,000 to make any power don't you. Keep the 4 banger in your miata and put a turbo on it.

If there was a top ten swap list, this would probably be number ten....its neat and all (Which is why it'd make it on the list), but with all the headaches I'd much rather do another more capable swap to make it worth my while....just my

Yep no torque, only horsepower, theres no connection between them at all.
Also, rotaries blow up all the time, they are the most unreliable thing ever made, you can only drive for a few seconds at a time between rebuilds.
Also, mazda designed the miata for homosexuals and women.

Yeah no horsepower, torque and 13,000 rpm...whatever. just because you don't like an engine doesn't....I am not going to waste my breath it is not worth it.

Why do people continue to start these ******* threads?

Edit:

I vote for implementation on "rotary" into the word filter.. Any thread started with the topic would just automatically be purged..

I was just thinking the same thing as I was reading the thread.

I like how it goes from "I have a motor" to "I dont have a motor" after 3 people said dont do it. I call BS of a kid in imaginary land.
