With stock fans I once overheated on the freeway with a/c on because one fan wasn't running due to a bad relay. Fixed relay, overheating gone.

I had coolant ejection on my bugeye, when the a/c fan wore a whole through the upper rad hose. That didnt work well.

I've gone full stupid - no ******* way I'm turning off my ac again on interstate because of 3" Begi hogging all the air causing overheating...
I will be welding a cross bar to make up for the section i cut out - and I've got aero catch to replace the hood catch

After cutting **** out

Now for the ducting to feed the top section of cond/rad over the ic. And ducting from bottom between the cond and rad.

IC mounted by their "stock" mounting points - which is still off-center. They welded mounting tabs to bolt down on one of the tow bolts on each side.

you can clearly see it's off-center to clear the a/c dryer.

Yeah, but i posted the following in the wrong fan thread. I haven't taken it back on track but running my ac is no longer a issue when cruising. However, in stalled traffic, it will cut out on high pressure because I didn't duct the gaps between the condenser and radiator - so cooler air to radiator but bypassing condenser. I also need to likely shroud as street car (primarily).
Using single ebay 12" fan and a smaller 8" - if this fails, then I'll pick up a spal. I used the end plates from my Kognition wing since Passey hooked me up with his version for the Kog wing - i did help support him on it )
Still need to get some dom tubing and weld in a brace to replace the section i cut out.
More ducting at sides and from under needed - today.

And since i cut out the hood catch assembly, i had to install my aerocatch.

I'm using a single Spal 16 with a full shroud and still have a/c. The condenser is not sealed to the radiator because it is more important to me that the radiator maximum receive air, but everything works very well. The fan draws a lot of air and sounds like a tornado. Don't let squirrels, cats, or small dogs walk by the bumper mouth while it is on. It also draws current pretty well when combined with the a/c compressor, which makes it tougher for the old ms1 to keep going. But that's not the fan's fault.

If it helps you any, I wire a boost solenoid inline with high-current draw devices like my fans, that way the motor instantly gets more air when the fans turn on. My setup my RPMs actually go down 40-50 RPMs once the fans go from Low to High due to higher alternator load. So I set the orrifice to get enough airflow to raise it back. It's dirt simple and now the fans kicking on is barely noticeable vs before.

Just bought it Steve - thanks for the lazylink!
further testing today, 96f and ac didn't cut out on high pressure switch and also didn't start overheating. I kinda had to test as i just had the windows tinted and he said no opening windows for 2 days. Car looking menacing now - me likes

A good ecu should be able to do this with the IAC valve.

Can anybody tell me the dimensions of the stock fan? Like the size of the shroud (height, width)?
