Default Engine swap

Okay guys just wondering if anyone else has done this swap or not. I have a B6T from my MX3 that I lost interest in after I got my Miata. Anyway I'm planning on swapping this motor into my Miata in the next couple weeks and then cranking the boost way up. I know I have to swap out oil pans and such but didn't know if there might be anything to watch for while doing this.

Check m.net for info on the BP out of an escort swap... they should be basically similar things to swap going from a FWD 1.6

Also check solomiata.com....

If I recal the front wheel drive turbo manifold won't work... it puts the turbo into the body. If you don't mind cutting some metal out of the engine bay this will be a non-issue... otherwise you will need to change manifolds. This is the reason the BPT manifold won't work in the miata, the B6T could be different, but doubtful.

I know the manifold will not work from the B6T, but I intend to use my Greddy set up that is in the car at this time. I'm going to put the single cam motor back in the MX3 and then put all of the B6T factory turbo set up onto that motor with a small amount of boost. Should be enough for my son to use for his first car and not get into to much trouble.
