What's wrong with the old one?

EDIT: Which one is the old one? The lowered/rollbar-ed one or the widebody one?

The old one is the lowered/rollbar one. The new one is the donor shell for his monster 1.6 he's building (see turbo setup thread).

Nothing really. I'm keeping both. Just the widebody one has flares, fresh paint, and some other goodies so better fit for my plans. Plus, entire drivetrain from the old one is sitting in my garage anyway so not too hard to swap in.

I think we should take a collection up... buy the old BRG, ignite it, and post the video on M.net.

US brgs came from factory with black tops. Not sure about Canada since they were made in more years.

Black, but I have a new tan at home to go onto my wife's BRG. Going in tonight for paint and should be able to pick it up Monday. I don't care if it isn't accurate, I think it will look better.

I want a green top for mine, but can't have a glass window. Any time I would need the top, I wouldn't drive it though...and I have the HT.

I remember reading somewhere that 91 brg's were supposed to have tan tops but the supplier couldn't meet the deadline, so they all got black tops.

That's what I heard as well, so I guess I'm going back to the original "intent" of the car.
