Default Finally Home.. With Pictures!!

I've been oversees for a bit doing security work and now I am finally back home and I can get started on this damn engine build. So.... here's a bunch of random pictures, taken from my shitty BB, so naturally the pictures are crap. Hopefully I can cram all of this stuff in and get it fired up by the end of the month. If I do I will vid-***** my results. Now, I have a question for you guys. This is the first time I'll be firing up a fresh engine with aftermarket cams. Kelford suggested I run it above 2K for 20 minutes or something to that order. Do I just do this on a fresh engine with an OEM manifold for that part and then slap my turbo stuff on afterward? I'd normally just build it with factory cams and run those for the initial start-up and break in... should I just do that anyway?

I think we all know what these are, since they are cheap and they work. Single springs for my application.

Yes, same thing. Over-sized... naturally.

Lifters! HLA...
Don't hate, I have a set of OEM solids that I'm putting in if this trial fails. I LOL'd when I opened the box and saw how they packaged these.

Cheap rods. Strong rods. Light rods.

Nemesis with FM base map. The WB02, AIT and KS are somewhere in my pile of junk.

They had a sale. Aluminum race rad WITH a Cusco high pressure cap. Cost me $100 CAD. Ha ha ha, be jealous. It was actually a favor owed to me... meh.

This was the hardest fan shroud I have ever assembled. Seriously.

Nice and blue... which goes with nothing else on my vehicle.

ATi Super Damper. SUPER!

This re-route kit is starting to look like some sort of sex toy you'd find at an S&M shop...

FPR! I actually won't be using this one but I don't have a picture of the other one.

Aftermarket manifold in need of custom work. I have to extend the collector about ¾" so I can double-nut. I hate threaded manifolds. Whoever invented them is a ******' retard.

Tyres! NT-01's in 225/45ZR15. This is set number three. I almost wrote my car off wearing these in the morning on a lightly dewed-up highway.

So that's pretty much the blunt of it. I know some of you guys have asked me before for pictures of my turbo set-up.... buuuuut now you'll have to wait until it's all back together. Don't worry, it will look even sexier this time around.

Dammit! I just remembered that I forgot to buy a new head gasket and adjustable cam gears. FML

You just can't mix solid cams with hydraulic lifters.
