Default Rear main seal in too far

I was installing a new rear main seal and I punched it in too far, it's about 2mm past the grove. Will I be fine? Should I rip it out and put ANOTHER new one in? What are the consequences of what I did?

It's about 2mm past flush.

EDIT: Ok, looks like it should be fine so long as it's flush all around... Can someone confirm this?

Better then too far out like my last one, the nub at the bottom got pushed out enough to contact the flywheel and leak like a sieve. :(
