Gauge cluster not working, alt?
Well i've just recently gotten my miata back up and running, and I have a problem with my gauge cluster.
When i first got it running the gauges were working fine, then the next time i started it, the gauges werent working for a couple of seconds, then kicked on. The next time i started it, no gauges, they were just dead.
I've been using this wiring diagram to troubleshoot it:
http://www.madracki.com/miata/images/wiring/90diag.pdf
I already checked ground for the gauges at 2J, ground is good.
But i'm having trouble finding out where the meter fuse is, I see power coming from there to pin 2k, but I dont know where the fuse is.
I searched on m.net and someone said its in the fuse box below the dash, i checked all those and all are good.
Btw, its a 90 miata, no cruise control, which i see the same wire from the meter fuse goes into that
Any ideas?
So I just found that the meter fuse is the 10 amp one on the fuse block under the dash, 2nd to far left top row.
I ohmed it out and it was good, but i havent checked power on both sides of it yet, I'm done with it for the night, but that fuse powers several circuits, so it could turn out to be a PITA
