Default Motor mount shattering torque!

I finally got some mazda comp motor mounts for my NB. This is what a driver's side motor mount looks like from a '99 with 120k on it. I do have an exhaust and sway bars so I'm pretty sure it's making at least 400wtq.

Definitely a worthwhile investment if you've been thinking about getting some new mounts. I knew the motor was bouncing around but wasn't expecting the thing to fall in half when I took it out. It does feel much better now, as you would expect, ha.

Mine looked similar when I pulled the motor last year. I blame the CAI & JR header.

I blame high milage, age, driving habits, and climate.

Have a great day,
Jared

Yeah... the point was supposed to be that even a stock NB somehow managed to break what is apparently a very weak motor mount.

Yeah man, no problem. It's pretty easy to swap them out and made a huge difference. No more horrible wheelhop.
