I total it as 65lbs because of a soft top delete. Either way you need a top, might as well buy one that close to OEM price and is better in every respect.

Soft top -35 lbs, CF/Lexan top -20 lbs = 55 lbs weight loss.

You're going to feel that!

is it really carbon fiber, or carbon fiber overlay? that makes a huge difference.

i'm somewhat interested, but at the moment i have my priorities elsewhere.

Fiberglass base and CF or Kevlar over that. I suspect that weight would be the same if it was all CF or Kevlar.

The weight is ideal and they look lovely, but $1,300 US plus shipping from Australia might be too expensive for American customers.

If you had a friend in a port city here in the USA, he could be your distributor and the shipping wouldn't be so cost-prohibitive for the customer.

I had 2 pages open and was suposed to post it elsewhere. Thank's for the feedback, i wasn't too sure if it would work out cost effective for you guys. But i am sure these are the lightest hardtops around. 5lbs bare, they feel so light compared to oem.

The price is so nice I bought it twice

A local buddy of mine wanted one too, so we both got shells for race car duty (no hardware, no window). Combining them in the same package to the same address reduced the shipping; $668 each to my door. Can't beat that with a stick.

yeah, but you can use your soft top seals and spec miata mounting plates. lexan windows are very easy to make too.
