Easily Overheating HELP!!!
I own a 92 Miata with the stock 1.6 still in it. I know that the radiator needs to be bigger or to get the reroute kit to fix it, right?!?! I'm just looking for some conformation about these "rumor's". Has anybody else run into this problem and how have you gone about fixing it???

No rumors. They have been confirmed on here and some other sites. Generally the people with over heating problems are the forced induction group.
But since your car is stock you really shouldn't need to upgrade anything. Have you checked your radiator for leaks? What is your coolant/water mixture ratio? Are your fans turning on when in traffic? A big issue that gets looked over alot is having your under tray installed, is yours still on? The name of the game for controlling your temps in ducting.
DO A SEARCH.
My car used to overheat in just one run during autocross season, put my under tray back on and problems went away.
Good luck and get back to us once you have checked out whats going on.

Do you still have the stock undertray? Without it it will overheat.
Mine overheated on hot days running the air with everything working properly, but only when sitting in a very hot parking lot until everything was heat soaked. The oversize radiator was a good investment.

Weird, i live in Arizona. A part of Arizona where 113 degree days aren't uncommon.
My Miata, and two others i've owned haven't had undertrays, and i've never had an overheating problem from it.
An overheating Miata is usually: fans/thermostat/waterpump/radiator cap/leak.
With a stock engine, i'd recommend you look at that short list.

+1. Not saying they don't help, but for daily driving, I think some of you guys make a bigger deal about the undertray than they deserve. I've run both my miatas over 10psi, on stock radiators, with no undertray with no overheating. My only overheating experiences have been a bubble in the system or a shoddy coolant reroute.
