I thought the same thing, but the email I got gives me a link to the address via yahoomap. I dont know.... I am going to call fedex and ask them what's up.... because that is correct the mapquest and even yahoomap when I try to searh for the address by putting it in says that it does not exist. IDK we will see

when i search, RUSK works and RUSH does not
and that's bogus as **** anyways. I'd contest the charge with my credit card company. I suspect you dropped it off at retail store and paid upfront? and then they added a charge later?

OMG.... I jut got off the phone with Fedex and there was some kind of typo.... the shipment did ship to 1125 S. Rusk St. the correct address but for some reason when they put the information into the invoice they charged me for address correction and changed te address. Ok so I know for sure it got to the guy. Now I'm going to nail him. I'm going to constantly call him and if I can't get in touch with him I'm reporting him.
I just called him. No answer so I left a message on the answering machine. Guess we'll see what happens.

I'm very confused. I just got a call back from the number that fasterthanyou gave to me. It was Joyce Upshaw, the same lady on the answering machine. She said I think you have the wrong number. I asked her if she got a package lately from Fedex and she said just things addressed to them. She asked who I was trying to ship to and I said Aaron Johnson on Rusk st. She said she had heard of the street. She says that this must be his old phone number cause her address was completely different from 1125 S. Rusk St. So...... IDK Fasterthanyou how did you get the number? Because it shouldn't of showed up as Upshaw, Joyce with the address 1125 S. Rusk St. So now I'm trying to find out the number. I think that he gave me a fake name possibly? But the thing is he gave me the name and address before I ever shipped. So he could of been legit at first then realized that he is going to get it so he wasn't going to pay me. So I really am not sure that it is a fake name ( Aaron Johnson) but it could be. I'm going to try no matter what to find out the number to the address 1125 S. Rusk St. cause even it that isn't Aaron Johnson's address that residence has the ECU and maybe I could get it back. Although it would seem if it was someone else's house they would of returned the package when they realized it wasn't addressed to them.
If anyone is subscribed to some kind of people search could you maybe try to look up a Aaron Johnson at 1125 S. Rusk St. Weatherford TX 76086

I looked up the Parker County Appraisal District info on that address (www.parkercad.org) and the property is held in trust. In addition, the trustee (Linda Barker) is at a P.O. Box so it's hard to be sure you have the right Linda Barker, but there is one in Weatherford at 817-341-7640. That's just the trustee of the owner though, no direct connection to Aaron necessarily (he might be renting).
BTW, Aaron Johnson is sleekcivic2004 over on civicforums.com. His latest post there was 6/11/07 and he lists his location as Weatherford and his age as 26 (DOB 3/17/81). He's been all over civic and miata boards too. He lists his AOL as sleekcivic, his yahoo as sleekcivic, and his email as sleekcivic2004@yahoo.com. Somebody IM him and ask him to call a cell # so you can post the number he calls from.
Also, there is no Aaron Johnson listed in Weatherford at www.anywho.com. There are a few Johnsons with no address noted in Weatherford that you could call. However, I'd bet he either lives with his mom and she remarried or he has no landline.
What you need is somebody to go by the address, check for a Miata, and ask to speak to the owner. It would be perfect if that "somebody" was a cop. Have you talked to the Weatherford police? If not, it wouldn't hurt to try. For that matter, it would be even more perfect if that "somebody" was you with a cop right there with you. Be respectful, helpful, and non-vigilante about it and you might get a sympathetic cop to play along.
