Harris Hill Trackday:7/26, TX Heat Sucks!!(Who has 56K?)
So I went to Harris Hill Rd last week with the local S2KCA club.
They put on a great track day. I had been out to HHR earlier this year for a couple "lead and follow" buy a membership laps in March.
Last week it was a lot hotter. I started to have cooling issues about 3/4 way through my 2nd session. 3rd session was almost the same, but fourth session I only got 2 good laps. I did a slow cool down in the pits, but it started getting hot again before I was through with the lap. So I packed it up early.
My plan of attack is to do the BEGI coolant reroute and probably do the 1.8 water/oil transfer thing. I already have the front sealed up and I'm running a belly pan.
This S2000 had a unique way of dealing with the temps:
Notice the dip stick, craziest way of checking oil level on the track ever.
Best part about the track though, I was out of the gate and in the driveway in 15 minutes! I would've considered moving back to DFW for MSR prior to this track.
Up next, more pics and youTube.

More Pics
My miata:
Another NA Turbo, he was having the same cooling issues as me. He had a KOYO and was running 12? PSI.
Lightest Lotus there:
A pretty quick, nice looking NC. Maybe he is NC owners last great hope at redemption?:
Lingenfelter Corvette:
My instructor, he was having cooling issues as well. His car is stock, but he can push it to the limit:
