CXRacing Racing RADIATOR 90-97 Miata MX5 + FAN + SHROUD:eBay Motors (item 190314935394 end time Jul-15-09 18:29:45 PDT)

I just sold a spear gun and have decided to go ahead and upgrade the radiator.

The design looks okay but i'm just curious if any one has any feed back on it.

If not, i'll be happy to be a tester and report back.

Word yo.

I apalogize in advanced if this is a repost.

Looks nice. The rad is well know, same as Mishimoto and fine piece of work. The shroud I had not seen before and seems like a win.

Good responses so far.

Hopefully some one who currently uses this will chime in.

Yeah the rad is definitely good. Same ans the Godspeed and Mishimito. Fans look like regular ebay fans so they should be good. I'd like to see pics of the shroud unbolted though. If there's no divider between the 2 fans I would mock one up.

That buy it now price is more than the price on the Mishimoto from our sponsor Turbochargers.com. I would get it from them and that way you have a little bit more reputable company than some ebay outfit.

My new style Mishimoto (got in in February) has done beautifully. Turbochargers.com had a sale listed back then on this forum. I would PM the rep who is a member on this forum and see if he will cut you an even better deal. I highly recommend them and the Mishimoto because of my good experience with both.

Nevermind. I didn't see the fans and shroud. And ETD is reputable.

My stock fans are working fine with no shroud.

If anyone has one, I'm curious on clearance with the shroud and the swaybar on a 94-97 (I have the racing beat sway bar reinforcement bar that touches the stock fan shrouds already)

i too would like to know if anyone has run into clearance issues with the 1.8 swap into a 90 miata. The engine is pushed forward a little more than the stock 1.6.

I'm also considering buying this.

Viperormiata -> Did you receive it yet? I also have the RB sway bar reinforcement bar, but I'm willing to remove it if it helps my cooling temps.

I just placed my order a few days ago, so I should be getting it soon.

I had to wait a little while because I just bought a 1.8 rearend swap, lol.

Very interested to see how his works out, for the price you cant go wrong. I'm mostly interested in the fitment, as I can't see much going wrong with the shroud/fans/rad.
Would be nice to see someone make an angled shroud, if the merits are there.

The thread that faeflora posted was very useful, but still doesn't have any information about the fan and shroud that are discussed in this thread.

Hopefully bayside blue and viperormiata can comment on those when they install their kits. Looking forward to it.

I'm strongly leaning toward buying the rad + fan + shroud kit.

i have one of these i just installed it yesterday and it mounted great a little hard to get in with the fans on but all fit just a little tight and it is thicker than 2 inches at the core its as thick as the top.

So far i like it for the price i guess time will tell.
