Default How much does your car weigh?

Just curious if some of you guys have put your cars on a scale, and how much it weighed?

I'm going to try to get mine weighed this afternoon. Apparently curb weight is around 2100 for a NA which is with all fluids and a full tank of gas, no idea how accurate that is though. I'm really hoping mine comes in sub 1900 but I kindof feel like that's unrealistic. Just wanted to get some idea what other people weighed so I'd have some idea what to expect.

*I searched and didn't see any thread similar to this. If it's been done sorry, and I'd appreciate it if you could point me towards it*

Maybe I should shift my hopeful target to 2000lbs instead of 1900.

Thanks for the links. I've done some serious time on lightweightmiata.net

I have a big box of "stuff I took out" that I need to weigh, in addition to my car. Off to the corner scales.

I'll report back when I get the numbers. Thanks for the post Paul, I think I should be right around where you are so I guess sub 1900 is going to be out of the question. *sigh...goes to cut fenders off and drill holes in chassis*

Mine was 2406lbs with me in it, and 1/2 tank of gas.

Removed AC and PS. Otherwise full car, with hardtop.

Oh, I weigh 250lbs.

When I was n/a IIRC the corner scales said I was at 2,300 lbs with half a tank and driver. This was without softtop and a few minor things like the factory tie-down hooks.

I shudder to think what it must weigh now, with the turbo, bigger rad, HDDSB, etc.

You guys don't even want to know what the scales said at the SCCA Double-X.... :(

I has a fully loaded 02 + turbo kit + Boss Frog D-Maxx + 17" wheels (that only weigh 17lb each). The only thing I have really removed is the spare tire. Remember, i also have a good bit more chassis bracing too.

2501 with a full tank of gas.

I'd guess I'm close to that. 94 C package. Every option intact. Hard top, soft top, HD HC, chassis bracing+ frame rails, turbo system, big rad and nothing but the spare deleted. With my butt and gas in it it's gotta be pushing 2700lbs! Corner weighting coming soon so I'll find out the real nightmare numbers then!

With 200lbs ballast, 3/4 tank, and stock hardtop, mine came out to 2775 on the corner scales.

I have done no lightening, and no FI yet. Car has a Hard Dog M2HCHTDD which probably weighs a good 50-75lbs.

Prepped for STS2, my 1991 weighed 1978 lbs with about 1.5 gallons of gas. That was on 16x7.5 SSRs with shaved Bridgestones and aluminum Koni 2812 shocks.

Added:
sparco sprint 5 seats, dunno weight but they are lighter
HDHCHT

This was before i had a 1.8 motor, 6 speed tranny and 8 inch subs. I dont give a flying F about weight. Im a bit more comfort oriented and enjoy being comfortable when i drive to and from the track.

I weight 135 lbs and that weight was with 1/2 tank of gas, since thats what im generally on track with.
