wideband bung install
Hey now!
So I've got this LC1 WB kit, and now that the begi has arrived I can tack this bung into place on the pipe.
The question, this sucker (bung) is like 2in long, how much of it needs to be inside the DP and how much needs to be on the outside? I'll try and get some pics up shortly incase no one knows what the hell I'm talking about.
Much thanks!

The bung fits flush on the pipe. The way I did it is drill a hole on the exhaust then set the nut over is with the wideband sensor in there and tack it. Pull out sensor and weld. Id also advise you to place the sensor between the 9 and 3 ocklock above horizontal.

Take the O2 sensor into a hardware store and buy the nut it threads into the easiest. I forget what size it takes.
That bung is junk.
for future reference, this is a real bung http://www.summitracing.com/parts/AVM-35-4005
Notice the lip on it? It makes life much easier.
