Definitely not any standard Miata wheel. Just because it came off a Miata doesn't mean it's a Miata wheel.

STO was only made in 97! STO meaning (Still The One)

Wernt they the last ones to come off the lines when they ended the NA chassis?

I understand why i have never seen these before with them only building 1500 ( yes wonton the las 1500 sold in the US). Makes me wonder why anyone would seperate them from the car.

Cause it's a specialty Miata, no one really cares. They're a cheap, RWD, fun, light car. We all appreciate a clean example of a Miata, but I don't think many of us on here are die hard Miata enthusiasts.

Oh, and as a noob, don't give a subscribing member with 2500 posts attitude, it won't end well for you. I didn't see your welcome thread, so welcome.

with that being said, here am MT.net, we dont care if its a M-edition, BRG, R-package, STO, 10AE, 1st one to roll off the line, blah blah blah blah blah. If its a miata, we are going to molest it. Over on M.net is where they Drool over that stuff...

c-note...yes, those are Miata wheels...they look great on your car BTW. Always had a spot for Mk1's..would love to see one with a crazy 3SGTE swap
Don't mind GayTon....his fingers are faster than his brain and he is about as intimidating as a housefinch

And Sean...STO stands for Special Touring Option.

Those wheels were stock on the STO's and they also came on the M editions in '96 (which they made a lot more of).

No dum-dums; STO = "**** taken off"
Its more or less an M-Edition, except they ran out of parts; none of this **** is on the STO

Torsen
Rear Sway Bar
ABS
Cruise control
Power Antenna
Premium Sound

(And other random **** that specifically makes an "m" an "m"...such as the "m" badge)

Those are definitely the wheels I've seen on a '96 M-Edition. Really good looking wheels in my opinion.
